The reservation is located at the southwest corner of Arizona, about 13 miles from Yuma (180 miles from Phoenix) and physically covers three separate areas, East Reservation, West Resevation, and North Reservation.
Train excursions from Yuma to the Cocopah West Reservation are provided by the Yuma Valley Live Steamers. At the end of the line, a recreation of an 1800's Cocopah Indian Village welcomes visitors and Cocopah Elders sell authentic jewelry and fry bread.
The reservation operates a casino and adult RV park.
