Central ArizonaThe South Valley lies in the foothills of Phoenix. The area includes South Mountain Park - The World's Largest Metropolitan Park and Ahwatukee. Ahwatukee is a Crow Indian word for “house of dreams' and those visiting the area would agree with the name!

The South Valley is also home to Gila River Indian Community which boasts plenty of recreational opportunities. Firebird International Raceway is home to first class boat and auto racing. The Gila River Casino offers sport of a different nature.

You can even enjoy a bit of "cow-pasture pool" (commonly known as "golf") in this Arizona HoT SpoT Destination.
